Santa Fe’s Temple Beth Shalom is dynamic, diverse, welcoming and inclusive. They are committed to living, teaching and learning progressive Jewish values within our faith community, and to contributing on the basis of these values to the community-at-large.


Temple Beth-El of Carlsbad

Temple Beth El consists of about fifteen families, mostly older couples whose children have moved to the big cities. The shul was founded many years ago by German immigrants with businesses in Carlsbad.  They meet twice a month for Erev Shabbat services.

The Las Vegas Jewish Community, Inc serves approximately 50 families in the communities of Las Vegas, San Miguel / Mora, and Harding counties. There are also families from Albuquerque to New York who remain supporters of the LVJC.

Despite our recent expanding activities, our active population has declined. Accordingly, Shabbat services are no longer conducted monthly. Our focus has been on High Holy Days, Passover, and Hanukkah, as well as a variety of social and cultural activities, such as Israeli Dance Lessons!

In cooperation with the Jewish Federation of New Mexico, we hope that the New Year will see growth in the active Jewish population of Las Vegas and surrounding areas.

Los Alamos

The Los Alamos Jewish Center is the Los Alamos community's resource for Jewish worship, education, life-cycle events, and social gatherings. They are a small, unaffiliated congregation that welcomes all Jewish traditions.

The Taos Jewish Center is dedicated to fostering a positive Jewish identity by providing programs and services that enrich the lives of the people it serves in Northern New Mexico.
